COVID-19 Protocol

Our ultimate goal is to minimize the impact of COVID-19 on those whom we love, which include you and your children whom you have entrusted to us!  To help stop the spread of COVID-19 and keep our space open for in person learning/activities, we are asking that each student participant get a PCR Standard COVID-19 Test 72 hours prior to entering the START Building for services and be prepared to show documentation of a negative result before being allowed to report to our space. This combined with other CDC COVID-19 Protocols will help protect our participants, staff, family members, and others who are not vaccinated against vaccinated against COVID-19 or are otherwise at risk for getting seriously sick from COVID-19.

To show that we recognize that health decisions, like COVID-19 Testing, vaccinations, etc. are personal matters, we are also offering an alternative option for our student participants. If you do not want to comply with the in-person requirement of taking a PCR Standard COVID Test 72 hours prior to entering the START Building for services, you can register your child to receive his/her services virtually. For those parents who choose this option, services will be provided via Zoom.

If you have any questions or concerns, such as finding a free COVID-19 Testing Site, please feel free to reach out to any of the START Program's Staff Members. For quick reference, we can be reached at 786-212-1161.
