Historically, Miami, Florida’s Coconut Grove Village West has dealt with food insecurity as evidenced by the number of food banks that operate in our community, and our participants are from households that meet the Federal Guidelines eligibility for free or reduced lunch. Through our meal program, we provide healthy meals for our participants and their families, helping to alleviate food insecurity within their family units.
